If that's a current pic, at least it hasn't been crushed!

Update, Been very busy trying to get my business from being behind. I'm about there on that. Also trying to build a building around us while we work. Gotta get my business out of the weather first.

We should be able to get back on this project over the next few weeks depending on weather. Gotta cut the front of the frame and widen it first. Then set the motor/trans in and make some mounts.

More to come as soon as I get some time.

Sorry. Been building a building. But having to build it right on top of my work area while using that area. I have two 10' x 20' EZ ups with tarps around the outside pushed right up against my awning right now to keep us out of the weather.

Over this past weekend me and my oldest son installed the 4 corner posts on top of posts we had sticking out of the ground. Then we built the door frames for front and back. Now understand that this is the only wide part of my driveway beside my house so if I ever need to get a big truck in the back yard I have to make the doors large enough. So we made two doors 12' tall and 6' wide and hung them in the door frame at the back. Next weekend we will do the front and start the sides.

I expect that when time changes and its light outside till late we will get a lot more done and have this thing built by Summer. Right now I am working 12 hours a day just to keep up. So we work on the shop on the weekends only till time change.

We did work on my kid's 66 F-100. We cut the bed down from 8' to 7' to make it a medium bed. He did not like the long bed but also did not like the looks of the short bed. So the frame table has his cab and bed on it for now.

I also ordered some plates to weld onto my 10' long frame table so I can bolt on 5' extensions to the front and back. This will give us 20' long overall. We may also make side extensions to hold the body of whatever we build separate from the frame.

I also sold the running motor out of my project truck. It's getting replaced with the KIA motor and trans.

So the project truck is ready to be torn down so I can start cutting it up. I really need it out of the yard so I will do that before I cut on the new frame. more to come...

Update. We have three walls on our shop and should be doing the 4th this weekend weather permitting. We have also been building the trusses for the roof. We have doors at both ends. Doors are 12' tall and 6' wide and two at each end. In the front, one of the doors has a 4' x 80" high walk in door.

As soon as we get this building where we can keep the weather out I should be back on the Mazda. It should be timed about right for spring.

I also bought a stamped tailgate. It's bent here and there but all I'm doing is cutting out the letters anyway. Gonna need them for my tailgate.

I bought an Isuzu Trooper rearend that has the 6 lug I need and rear disc brakes with no drum in the center of the disc like later stuff. Gonna get the axles shortened and narrow the housing myself.

More to come
