WHEN YOU GO TO LIKE AUTO ZONE OR ANY AUTO PARTS STORE THAT SELLS BATTERIES, THEY SHOULD HAVE A BOOK THERE WITH YOUR MAKE AND MODEL THAT WILL TELL YOU WHICH BATTERY YOU NEED. THAT BOOK WILL TELL YOU WHAT CRANKIN AMPS ARE NEEDED AND WHAT NOT, THEN JUST TAKE THAT INFO AND LOOK FOR ANOTHER BATTERY THAT WILL FIT IF THE ONE SPECIFIED IN THE BOOK IS TOO BIG. YOU COULD POSSIBLY GET A GEL BATTERY TOO, BUT THEY ARE EXPENSIVE AS HELL.

I think the one in my truck is from a honda civic or something, and its super tiny. Its a toyota pickup, it doesnt need a whole lot of cca's

Yea, I found out 590 is what is recommended. I'm gonna cut shit to make a normal size battery fit so I can run an Optima. I didn't want to, but I'm going to.

Get two of these, there 6v but maybe you could wire up a pair, hell they're only 3.5 in wide. Or, just change the whole truck to a 6v system

Go with an Optima, you can place it anywhere you like and it should last a long time. I have one going on 8yrs old.
