This is the only part of the floor the frame will come above the floor.

I started building the backhalf. It is tied in under the cab. The goal was not to see a transition.

I had some custom gussets laser cut for myself, and they showed up today.

With some careful measurements I drew out the rest of the backhalf, and the 4-link.

I then welded together the rest of the backhalf on the table, and smoothed out the joints. Now I just need to TIG the star gussets in place.

Thats where I am as of today. I have to fill some orders over the next few days but I will be back on it by the weekend.

hey, when u cut the floor like that, how far foward and back do u have to cut for the frame to sit up ? do u have to still cut out the firewall or no?
on the rear of the cab do u gotta cut the back wall?

i guess its different on each modle of truck and depends on how low or far your channeling it.
for the 720 he says "This is the only part of the floor the frame will come above the floor."

it looks really good but how come its getting redone? the orignal work looks ok, well i would have built an xmember for the upper bag plates instead of small gussets.

i guess cos its now bodydropped and needs more lift?

killer work as always.

He said he wanted something cleaner and different that didn't look like every other frame. And the framerails were bowed out.

do u just notch up front and in the rear for the height of the frame will be sticking up? and the same for the drive shaft.. then just tub it up?
