truck is looking good.

how do you go about welding upside down?
i had to do it this weekend, for a little trailer i had to put a new hitch on.... ended up doing one good tack at a time. any other methods for a good bead?

Overhead welding is a weak point for me. I don't do enough of it to be proficient at it. But what I generally do, is slightly increase the wire speed, and try to keep the tip as close to a 45 degree angle with the joint being welded. I can get pretty good results, but the weld always looks like its sagging afterwards. Rarely will I get a bead that looks like it was laid down otherwise.

Had a custom drive shaft made, that goes from Nissan flange, to Spicer clip yoke, to Toyota flange.

These look a little phallic at the moment, but it will make sense soon.

I am borrowing a tube notcher tomorrow, since mine has not showed up, so that I can build the 4-link, and get it TIG welded.

Damn Seth, you keep this up and this thing will outshine Frank. Looks great,.

The suspension setup is gonna be way more bling than mine. Its a lot fancier, and my work keeps improving. Also the 4-link and axle is going out to powdercoat next week.

Now those phallic shapes should make some sense.
