mine sat for 5 years. ended up only needing a few fuel filters (to clean the lines out) a new gas tank (or drain, flush, and seal) and blow out the lines ahead of the fuel filter. unplug filter first before doing it or it could damage things. good luck. these are a blast to drive.

well app. they never checked the tank and they said that the fuel filter was not the issue.
they said the the issue was that there was buildup in the carb. that wasn't letting the gas come thru.
so i think I'm just going to have it towed to the house and I'll pull the tank and clean it out and flush out the lines and put a new filter in it and see what happens.

is there more then 1 filter? I'm asking cuz i have yet to really look at the truck in great detail.

you want a few, theres only one on the truck though. you want a few because when you do that first new one its going to gunk up with crap. second and maybe 3rd too. by the 4th you should be clean.

OK, i found out that the truck was acting like that when i was first parked 2 or 3 years ago. that's why they parked it. so i might very well be the carb needs to be rebuilt, but the shop should have still checked the tank and lines first anyways. so i guess when i get the new Weber carb in i'll have a stock carb up for sale.

i have been looking all over the forum and can't seam to find the pics that i'm looking for.
does any one here have pics of the rear frame with the stock shock mounts. i'm thinking about relocating the upper mount locations. so i would like to try to fig. in up on the pc before i start chopping away.
