What have you guys done to re-install the stock e-brake after switching out the stock tranny crossmember. Any pics you have would help. Thanks. Oh, and I'm not looking for the just lay it out for an e-brake answer...
I know you don't want to hear this, but most people done use an E-brake. Its in the way, and the way its mounted stock would be difficult to keep it with my exhaust, and the travel of the rearend. I just cut it out.
xcab cables should work in the stock location for a reg cab. but i think i'm gonna be screwed. around here there is good cause to park up occasionally(oink oink).
why would the cops mess with your truck if its parked and laid out? its not moving anywhere. if you have a stick why not just leave it in gear? thats what i do when i leave mine aired up.
i live in va, state troopers can take your tags on the spot if you have drop blocks. 98 % arent such hard-asses, but we've got one in town that will do it for fun. most of the bagged vehicles around here ride high most of the time.
