thanks for all the info, don't really want all the hassle of fuel injection, just keep it simple with a carb, but I called advanced adapters they say there stuff is for 4wd trucks, thanks for replys

i have seen the swap to a 350 before a lot of work even with a simple tranny like turbo 350 or 400 the prob your gonna run into most is traction i already have traction probs with my almost stock 22re motor unless u run a race 4 link u wont get trac for shit............. im new to draging and baggs but not racing..... good luck keeping trac.. as far as fuel inject carbs are so much simpler!!! far less probs once u get it tuned!!!!!!!!!!!

A friend of mine did the swap (LT1). he spent about 8000.oo total. I dont know what he did cause he paid a shop to do it. It looks killer and he has about 300+hp. I know motor mounts. its fuel injected so he did a little bit of wire changing. he used an after market fuel pump and fuel cell. If i can get ahold of him I will post pics etc. its been like 3 months since I have talked to him.

Yup. Just because it's different. And they make pretty good power.
