wasn't the 302 crank the same as a 283 ?? BUT used in a 327 block.

Its possible. Not sure. I found a 302 a couple years ago, and had it checked out and the block was no good, but the crank was fine. Crank was turned .010 under. Was thinking about putting it in my 350 and destroking it. I think it measures 355 right now. Any idea what that would make it?

4 inch bore of a 350 and the 3 inch stroke of a 283/302 will give you a - ta da - 302. HAHAHAHA who knew.
