yea big trucks are made from a different type of metal, its called h.s.l.a. or high strength low alloy. the strut mounts on a lot of cars are made from the same material and its hard as hell. however thats not the case with the chevy trucks, they are just simply made out of a poor quality thin metal that aint worth a shit. you can thank general motors for upping the price and charging you more for less of a truck. i work in a body shop and these trucks right now are folding up like no tommorow. dont crash it, they cant take it.
