I use both the liquid teflon and the tape. I wrap the tape 3 to 4 times then the paste. No leakes yet going on a year and a half. The paste isn't supposed to dry either that is what makes it work. You can get the paset at any hardware store.

Locktite? As in bolt loctite? Hmm.. Never thought of that.

crap i mean 272, 242 is loctite blue.....

This might sound dumb, but just put the Loctite on the threads like you would a bolt? Same thing, right?
