so with locktite, when it comes to the day when u wanna change fittings to a different size or shape, will u still be able to get the old one out ? or is it like the guy said up there, once it dries, its there ? ive always used tape and never really have problems

I was just looking on the slam specialties website and they had a different number then what you guys are saying. It says 565 on the site.

so why is it that i use tape...then coat it with paste and i have leaks? i always have leaks...and it drives me fucking insane, i think i might be tightening to hard, i tighten as hard as it will go basically...not cool?

Let it dry for a while after tightening, just to let it set good. and when it comes time to take it apart, its not too bad

loctite 565 is the stuff recomended specifically for tapered pipe fittings, it dries quick and seals to 10kpsi.

i justed the LOC TITE 272 with about 2 turns of teflon tape and i have no more leaks!!! the 272 is some good shit!!
