3" will be fine, mine is 3 3/4" and my rockers are crushed

when lowering the cab weld box tubing to the bottom of the frame in the front lowest part of the cab and in the back lowest part of the cab and set the body down on those and that will make your rocker level with the fram and lay out flat

wow.... good information here..... its 2.75 to lay rocker.. 3" is a good number to lay rocker hard... any more and not doored is worthless... and a 2.2 will fit with a cut intake on 3" and maybe without on a 2.75"

yea mine lays full frame and the begining of the body(pinch) is like 2-3/4. Now the bodyline just below the door is 3inches. But like I said this is mine and i lay full frame on 20s.

how much bd to the doors? can u do this while keeping it under a cowl hood? i wanna run 20s if possible

ive never gotten the obsession with ppl wanting to know a number for a bodydrop. who cares. pick where you want it to lay, and put it there.

I am pretty sure it is 5" to the doors... ya you could keep it under a cowl hood I do believe.. it may not be wide enough tho. 20s will fit also

I did a 97 x-cab for a customer and it was 2 3/4. It lays on the rockers w/no pinch mold. This is on 20's as well.

we are stock floor BD my S10 right now...it will be 3 and 1/4 inches to lay rocker hard...
