any wires you stretched happen to be signal wires?alot of stuff is run by multiplex wiring,with stuff reading resistance from the wiring,so if a wire is stretched or shortened it alters the resistance in the circuit.If the ecu is getting its proper ground and power supplies,and there are no open circuits in your data link from ecu then the ecu has to have given up the ghost.

He said just what i was fixing to say, also it could depend on you solder, deferent solders do have different resistances that will mess up any resistance switches..

i was thinking it was a fuse lol i had a 98 with the 4.2 auto and it wouldnt start one day just kept turning over and come to find out it was a fuse that was listed in the manual as a clutch relay fuse or some shit. i didnt know what the hell it was for but that 15amp fuse kept it from starting. glad to see you got it worked out

There is another forum on here about people telling stories about the "stupid" little things that they looked over when trying to get there trucks running again....I gues we can file this in there as well.
