Its a good start. Ditch the i-beam and put a mustang II or all chevy suspension under it it will make things alot easier.

its a good bit of cash to get it all together, which is why im doing it piece by piece. should i go ahead and get ane brake master cylinder and all that while im at it as well?

also, id definatly look into a new fender...
granth   +1y
yes, fender will be replaced im sure, but not until i figure out the front suspension. the body isnt my first objective. if anyone could point me in the right direction to find mII suspension for a good price id appreciate it. any idea how much i should look at spending? i have to get a new crossmember and weld it in where my stock one is and all that right?

i got my crossmember from Heidt's and got all 4 tubular control arms for about $300 and 2" drop spindles for about $150 from Rod Parts Warehouse. they have a lot of parts for a very reasonable price. i don't think they have a web site, but they have a whole page ad in street rodder.
