Not sure if i ever posted this info but i was planning on running cylinders for the front. Well i decided to scrap that idea. As some of you may remember, a company by the name of Cold Fusion or something of that sort, made camber plates. well the company isn't around anymore & i haven't found camber plates for a neon again. Well i found a company last night, but its a universal camber plate. As some of you may know, the front end needs strut mounts with bearing inside them so the strut can turn with the wheels. well im not a fan of cylinders & i thought i had no other choice. i couldn't find a bearing i trusted to use to make regular bags work in the front end. plus not to mention i am having clearance issues with the cylinders i purchased awhile back anyways. here's the pic of the camber plate i will be using

Got some more work on the neon done today. I put on the shorter Alt. belt & i mounted the new Alt bracket. Also since my buddy Alec flaked out on me in the middle of the project, i will be taking over the whole project. Anyways i decided to make the rear strut brackets for the cantilever. As soon as the welder shows up, i will start welding them together. Anyways, heres the pics

I was a lil off on my measurements for the middke bolt hole, but oh well, it still worked

Anyone who has worked with me on projects before knows this site all too well lol

waiting on the reply to the manufacturer of the Camber plates so i can start building the front struts

I welded my brackets together the other day at work. The back of the bracket doesn't look so great but i didn't care cause you wont see it. But anyways i painted them black for now & i still have to weld a lil more on it. i might have to exted the bracket higher & i also have to make a bracket for the bushing that goes on the cantilever see saw bar

Today i cut the cars & risers for the cantilever frame. I would have welded it all together but since my Buddy Alec fucked me on my air bags i have to wait to get new ones so i can finish getting my measurements. If you are curious how he F'ed me, well............since i bought my bags early & his truck is bagged also. he blew a bag & i sold them both of mine since he had different ones than what i had. well he only had 50 bucks so i said that was fine & to pay me later. well since he flaked on me, he left for NJ today & never paid the rest of his bill & that was 3 weeks ago. But anyways, heres the pics of the brackets

I have always liked neons, I used to have a 98 that layed out. I had a 2 pump set-up in it. It layed hard, I drug the sway bar off of it. Ahhhhh, the good ole days when I was young, lol! I had to move the fuel filler on mine because I shaved it but also it pinched the hose. I ended up putting it right front corner of the trunk lid. Keep it up.
