i just wonder if that guy was measuring the right year suburban spindle... summits site says the 2508 (only model listed for burbs) is 99 and up, the 2500 is for 88-98 trucks... SO, ya still might want to be sure that's your problem...

those are the ones. belltech 2500 is same as suburban up to 98. it is the same as the 88-98 1500's and 92-98 burbs. the 99 and up is when it changed.

I thought my F150 spindles were the only fucked up ones they built, but apparently they fuck up more than i thought!

i shouldve read over this thread before buying? umm i create the thread, it didnt exists until after buying the wheels.

"not trying to sound like an asshole" but your truck is not even bagged, my s10 is and its had 3 sets of wheels on it all tucked, all worked properly. this is not my 1st time and an over sight on my part. i dont know alot, but know enough that other wheel sellers know their shit.

but as mentioned i'm looking into this spindle difference cause i think that may be the issue, cause everythign seemed ok until i put them on. i'm calling DJM now.

Lol my truck not being bagged has nothing to do with your mistake. Your the one that should be responsible enough to learn how to measure backspacing and offset and then make a decision on what you need in order for your wheels to tuck. Does Chip Foose or Troy Trepanier call some guy up when they want a set of wheels and say "Hey man I have a 72 bagged chevelle, i don't know what backspacing or offset so figure it out and send them to me" No, they drop a plumbob from inside the fenderwell and measure twice so they know what they are getting. Again not trying to be an asshole, just droppin my

read above and see what the issue is. as far as measuring the backspacing for cutom apps, yes thats needed. just like when i was putting a FWD wheel on my bagged s10, that was my responsibilty. having a correct wheel to fit on my truck to be properly aligned is not my responsibilty and sellers should know this. so you're implying that if i wanted to get wheels on any car i need to do the work and find the back spacing, wrong thats what you pay these shops for when you buy wheels.

luckily for seller seems offset is correct and its a spindle issue. lucky for me i should say.

dude you get what deserved when you said the first sentence in the following post...if you have sense enough to get your truck bagged...this is 150% your responsibility...stop bein a pussy and roll the fenders out

Now your contradicting yourself. At first you said its not your responsiblity to know the backspacing/offset that you need. It's the sellers. Now your saying

"as far as measuring the backspacing for cutom apps, yes thats needed. just like when i was putting a FWD wheel on my bagged s10, that was my responsibilty"

So which is it? Is the offset/backspacing your responsibilty or the sellers? Also no i am not implying that when you buy wheels for vehicles that you have to do all the measuring, but thats because most people buy wheels for stock height or mildly lowered vehicles. When it comes to custom offsets/backspacing on wheels for custom applications i.e.: air ride then you have to have your shit together. All the seller knows is what you tell them

it amazes me the gap between knowledgable people and non there is on here sometimes. and how people come on the back end, skim the last post and not even read whats going on and find out their post is worthless.

so here it is my OPINION that wheel shops should know they're product and know if they fit within specs to tcuk or if they will frog out.

if your opinion states other wise then you're free to have it, and you most likely work for wheel companies or do them a great favor by doing all the work yourself and then still paying full cost for the wheels. people are forgetting this is a a buyers market, not sellers...

and to avoid any further confusion to anyone just reading this and not the full post:

*it has been found the problem is NOT with the wheel, nor my measuring skill. but in fact that the Belltech spindle is 1/2" out further then stock.*

i said custom apps such as a FWD on RWD truck. bolting on a wheel to a vehicle that is to be stock, lowered or bagged is not a custom app. thats my look on it. you feel thats its a custom app and in that sense of it i'll agree that you should measure it. but like i said, it is not. its called proper wheel fitment. which all of this is a moot point now anyways.

Seems as though your the one lacking knowledge. Your insults on someone's intelligence is laughable. It took you this far along in the thread to realize you were wrong the whole time.
