hmm you know i didnt think about that. it did look to have clearence with stock spindles. i put on the truck spindles cause they dont list a burb one. i wonder if theres a bit of offset difference between the trucks?

also it wouldve bene nice ot camber the wheels in more, but the alignment would be off if i did and then the tires will wear unevenly. i'm lookng for a machine shop to get rid of extra back spacing. unless anyone wants to trade wheels... haha

Dude, DO NOT machine the mounting surface to fix the offset. Doing so will comprimise the wheel strength and could break on you while rollin down the interstate at 70 mph. There have been wheel failures with only 1/4" to 1/2" of mounting surface removed. Just buck up and get a set that fits. Good luck!

i've never heard of that. maybe on FWD wheels, but theres a lot of metal on the back of these. i cant see taking 1/4" would make wheels break. i know people who have done this, not to say this is correct. just never heard of this before.

also i was thinking of just triming my fender lip.

1/4" might seem like not much in relation to the whole wheel, but there's not much material between the lug nut and the rotor/hub and that's what your machining away. it's the strength of the mounting point that will suffer big time.

exactly. unless you drill new holes to maintain that same amount of material between the lug nut and the mounting surface, you will weaken the wheel and it will break.

Could you possibly roll the inside lip of the fender in to get them to clear?

Pound your fenders out. It will also help with the frustration of the hindus selling you the wrong offset

hey i m not sure about your sub but on s10 s djm spindals are run about an inch narrower than beltech. just something to look into. i had it happen to me. i switched spindals and the rim hit the fender lip. i was just as pissed as you. i call beltech they have no clue. i call djm and they knew the deal.

this was mentioned earlier and may be the issue. its weird caue the back looks fine. could posisbly be the spindles. anyways i'm glad people are reading the topic and thinking bout what they say as oppsoed to saying i bought the wrong wheels...
