i had 4inch cylinders in the front of my eg coupe,i had to hack out half of the fender welds, shorten the spindels,to get it sit on the floor on the front, check my profile to see how low it sat on 14's....

Your looking at the wheel well gap but are you taking into account that the front well is higher than rear wheel well.

the control arms are probably hitting the cylinders...thats how my civic was..put the smaller ones up front and it went lower...then i cut out the towers for the arms to come thru and went a bit lower yet

What COULD i have done wrong? Nothing looks to be hitting and i believe the cylinders are fully compressed at 0psi...

Thoughts?
And yes, i am currently on 15's, I will be getting 18's around March when the snow stops.

Thanks again all!

wot kind of brakets does it hav on the top of the cylinder?

i have to shave alittle off my control arms at the top i hit my cylinders, you can take alittle off the forks also, i cut mine down to the bolt its like another 1/2 inch

after i took that thickass bolt out, the control arms don't hit the Cylinders anymore.

Which pieces are the "forks" that I can shave down?

And what about taking the rubber gasket out thats about 1/2" thick from the top of the Cylinders sandwiched between the 2 metal plates that mount to the car? Or does that help with the movement of the cylinder back and forth?

Thanks again all!
