ranger splined steering wheel adapter

i put one on the steering rack its self and one on the end of the steering column. heres a pic of mine , i have the heim on mine cuz i left the rag joint on there but if you take it apart and weld the universal to it you wont need it. steerings tighter then it ever could have ben factory.

also this pic is 4 years old, the heim mounts to the bag mount, that was me tryin out some diff mounts that didnt work...

I think I might take a look at mine and see how bad it is. I know that obviously mine looks nothing like yours since it's rack and pinion.

I cut the shaft down on the column,and redrilled the hole for the bolt

Could you turn yours before modifying it Jaymac? It doesn't seem like mine is binding up inside itself, I just think the universal joint at the rack and pinion end is at its angular limits. Cutting it shorter wouldn't help with the angle.

It would turn but it was tight. By cutting the shaft down it made my angle alot better.

if that dont work an aero star u joint should fit right on the end of the ranger column... ill see if i can find the aero star joint tonite and confirm it
