the small budget is half of what is wrong with minitrucking right now. The lower the entrance barrier, the more people there will be. I'm not saying I want it to be all full frame astronomically priced rides like modern hot rodding is (not the 1%er grassroots guys who build amazing all steel rods from scratch for themselves either), but I do think the low cost of bolting air ride on an s10 has introduced a new kind of broke minitruckers to minitrucking. Used to be we were all broke because we spent every penny on our rides, now we are just all broke and still can drag trucks cheaply and bolt trailer balls to our crossmembers and generally act like miscreants because natty light is 7 dollars a case.

Just my opinion.

Two links are so popular because simple to install almost anyone cane put one in. I HAD one on my s-10 for four years. In that time i had to replace my carrier bearing 3 times, my u-joints 3 or 4 times. As far as traction I could smoke the shit out of 20's with my two link. Now that I have a four link it hooks, no spining. I guess thats why all drag race cars have four links. Thats all I got say about that. So in my opion two links SUCK.

To say that suspension has been not been used by manufactories sence 72 is untrue. In fact look at most of the 18 wheelers suspension. I know that they put a couple of hundread thousand miles on them a year and haul alot of weight and they are ajustable depending on there load use 2 links now instead of 4 links. But they do not drive them dragging and do not drive them maxed out but what they do is Drive them at a set ride height. I think i would trust what there doing more then what a guy who read something of a website tells another guy on a website. Also from a shop that builds it both ways and installs it both ways. A 4 link cost around 50 more in material and 2 hours more in labor. so cheaper isnt the issue. I know that you will have something to come back and say in response to why im wrong but please remember we have the experience to back up what we recomend. 14 years of building both 4 links and 2 links and our kits totaling over 1000 show trucks and dailey drivers. In fact most of what any one installs today was done first at our shop. Real life road testing and customer satifaction has lead us to or results not a diagram or hear say from someone else. Sorry i had to say something but im sick of people and there one sided ways. There is a positive to both types.

If you guys are taking a dig at me because I want everything perfect, Stop it! I have already stated that if you want to 2-link your truck do it, but make sure you are informed about the compromises that are being made by doing so.

All I have been trying to do sence I joined this site is to inform. If some of you don't agree with me that is fine, but I can assure you that I am not posting oppinions, these are proven facts.

I will continue to post facts until I am asked to leave...

Whats the positive side to a two link. I've had both. I had problems with the two link and no problems with my four link. Both were instaled by a guy with 10 + years of experience. Sorry but I'm sick of fixing trucks with 2 links on them. The only good thing I can say about 2 links is that they work but your going to have problems later on down the road. I dont know about every one else but i would rather be driving my truck rather than fixing it.

this truck has the type that dont give you flex in the back it works like amost 4 wheelers do the axle lifts and drops straight to gether, some 2 links will let you get some side to side tavel like a normal truck cause it has link ends like the 4 links do , there is one pic. posted like that. but seams point less to go that for out with the top mount of the bars, has a different look though.also the 2 link style needs a pan hard bar or something to keep the axle stable from left to right movement . the most popular type of 4 link has 2 bars that do that, they are angled to do so and plus with some more effert you can keep ur pinion anle strighter. it all comes down to what u want for your truck, and the 2 link works good when done right and it takes up less room under the truck too. Fuck you, you're a warm, wet piece of shit!! HAHAHAHAH Gotcha, Lanny, did'nt know i knew your' login, didya?? Just kidding, you and Jon are the shit, so i'm just wondering why yall are dogging 2 links so bad when that's what you built for me? Is there a way to have a 4 link and keep the stock gas tank location? Let me know and give me a holler, i called you back Saturday but your narrow ass did'nt answer (like usual, lol)

or, i'll just let you guys put in a 4 link when i bring it down for you to sfbd it. Yeah, that'll work.

I think your 2link was the last one we built. It just has to many problems on daily driven vehicles. Yes we have a 5link design that lets you keep your stock tank in the stock location only 1.5" higher. We will replace it for free when you come in for SFBD. Thats why I'm voicing my opinion about 2links, I had a guy call the other day about building him just a pair of 2link bars, we will not even do that anymore...We used to do them also, but we evolved and learned better ways of doing things. In my opinion there nothing worse than walking up to a badass truck/rod and seeing a 2link for rear suspension..Just voicing my opinion.
