I think your 2link was the last one we built. It just has to many problems on daily driven vehicles. Yes we have a 5link design that lets you keep your stock tank in the stock location only 1.5" higher. We will replace it for free when you come in for SFBD. Thats why I'm voicing my opinion about 2links, I had a guy call the other day about building him just a pair of 2link bars, we will not even do that anymore...We used to do them also, but we evolved and learned better ways of doing things. In my opinion there nothing worse than walking up to a badass truck/rod and seeing a 2link for rear suspension..Just voicing my opinion.

see? that's what i'm talking about, Jon and Lanny have been hooking me up since Jon was a friend of a friend of a friend. TAKE YOUR SHIT TO DB RODS AND MINIZ IF YOU WANT IT DONE RIGHT AND ARE ANYWHERE AROUND AUSTIN!! Thanks again, dude, you proved the point i've been making for the last few months.

Well, don't recommend walking up on mine then. But I've got a 4 to 2 link. Woo Hoo! Guess that means you can walk up on mine.

i don't know how old this topic is but don't the older 67-72 chevy's use a 2 link with a panhard? they were driven daily and most of them still are.... hmmmm... i'm gonna run a 2 link til i get the funds for a 4 link...

covered that on a previous page.

The ultra long, flexible, 67-72 Chevy truck trailing arm suspension has absolutely nothing in common with the 1/4 wall box tubing people use for two links. There is no factory application that mimics what is used by minitruckers, and to say you put the same thought into the design as the tens of engineers who spend thousands of hours designing that truck suspension (that was outmoded in 1972 BTW)is really an insult to all their hard work.

A two link on a mazda is a terrible idea unless you move the gas tank, in which case you will be doing the same amount of work for a 4 link. I have pictures of the one I THREW AWAY off my truck when I bought it in my profile. Its not that bad, I only ended up replacing the transmission, carrier bearing, driveshaft, pinion seal of the driveshaft.....

save up a few extra $'s and run a proper 4-link... its not that much more money. Being a cheap ass is no excuse.

People are just ridiculous. Someone like Max posts some cold hard facts about the stuff, and people think he is just saying this because he likes things perfect. Hell I think everyone should like things perfect... why ride around on something half assed or mediocre... just cause its a couple more $'s and might take you a couple more days.

People need to start putting quality into their rides, and not just getting them out and onto the streets.

I personally do not sacrifice rushing my build, or cheaping out on it just to have it on the streets. I've been working on mine for over a year now, probably won't see the roads for at least another year... and that doesn't bother me one bit. At least I know that when its done its done properly and I didn't sacrifice the quality of the work, or the design, and functionality of it for the sake of getting it onto the streets.

I say fuck 2-links.

Sorry for the rant... I kinda got off topic.

yaaawwwwn, oh, here's the 2 linkers vs 4 linkers again. we've built plenty of both. never had all those problems with carrier bearings or any of that. have driven many thousands of miles and a decade on suspensions and never seen all the issues mentioned in the previous 6 pages. but when i'm not sure about something, i always refer back to my biocustomz bible or call max up direct.

yeah but they were'nt on bags , riding 2 inches of the floor with the pinion angle all fucked up.

some of you need to go read up and do your research on suspension dynamics before you open your mouth. this is scary.
