I think just some taller axle tabs, and rotating the front wishbone tabs down as far as possible would put your IC towards the front of the vehicle?

i know this is a lil off from where the topic has went to but if you went to a 2 piece driveshaft and a center bearing then the plunge would be all in the second half and the trans angle would be constant.just a thought

You are completely right about the driveshaft plunge issues. But what you aren't taking into consideration is suspension geometry and wheel base change. With the bars pushing the rearend back far enough to pull the driveshaft out, the wheelbase is changing to much to keep the wheel centered in the wheel well opening. And those kind of issues also cause undesireable amounts of rollsteer.

I just tacked it all up, tried it and it worked great. P.a. never changed. That was just the motivation I needed to move forward.Thanks to everyone for their help.
