Chicayne is one of my all time favorites. That car is badass and even better in person. Pretty much everything that comes out of Rad Rods is BA.

Good find, it will killer either way you decide to go with it!

NICE FIND. I LIKE THOSE CARS.

I SAW THAT TROY TRAPANER BISCAYNE AT A REST STOP IN OHIO LAST SUMMER. "HOLY SHIT!" IS THE ONLY WORDS I HAD FOR THAT CAR. THAT THING IS SO FUCKIN BEAUTIFUL

my buddy has one on dro's. the floors are gone in all of them it seems, no matter what.

cool car, but not one to worry about when reselling it. its not an impala after all. its a base model chevy from the 60's. looks cool though, they are fun to hop in haha.

thanx guys. yeah i was plannin on running s10 balljoints and drop spindles (have the spindles layin in the shop) seems to be the cheapest way to convert to disk and get a drop spindle to boot.

small update: i can get the car to move in 3rd gear but nothing else seems to be there??? i dont t ihnk its the cltuch anymore, possibly torn up gears? i need to quit messin with the damn thing till i actually get my bed finished and paint my truck.... damn new toys!

it may be that the linkages are jammed. My truck does that every so often. least it did when i drove it haha. get someone to wiggle the shifter and see what is jiggling, and just push on things til it comes loose. mine just locks in third sometimes and i have to get under it and un-jam it.

i havent done it yet, but ive been told how. the upper balljoints can be bolted in by makin new holes to accept the s10 joints. the lower (maybe diff ways but im doin it this way) cut the s10 arm off a couple inches from the joint, do the same on the impala arm, then weld, brace, and bolt on your new s10 spindle/ brake assembly. a guy on another forum showed some pics, took him an afternoon to complete.

Wouldnt it be easier to just buy 2" drop spindles for the impala?
