I was wondering how to and how much to do this and if you have any pics? They would be alot of help.

1.5" is enough to lay flat on 20s with spindles. If you section it any more you will have issues with the tie rods hitting the control arm nuts. Also you need to get your spindles machined to flip the tie rods upside down.

so do you have to do any thing with the control arms? and could you use that front bracket kit that suicide sells?

That is probably the first actual pic of one of those done that I've seen. Most are "AFTER" pics. I still say as much of a travesty as it would be that this crossmember could be used under an F-100. Just wish we had shop space so I could try it...

His control arms are stock, just had to remove a hump on the front by the bushing where the drag link is. And the upper arms are angled, but I talked to someone else that said you can use a newer Chevy balljoint and lay on uncut arms. And he has a KP bracket kit, which is probably the same as the SD kit, or close enough. He just had to cut the cup down a bit.

did it on mine to lay a 24 w/tiny tire. im having toe in probs. but i still like the way it looks
