Getting AET arms is the ideal way to go, but if you don't want to fork out the cash for arms stocks will work too, I think you may need to modify the lowers a bit with the Dropmember. Yes all the mounts are incorporated into the Dropmember, you basically unbolt all the stock stuff and bolt in the new member. Like I said, take some time and read some of the threads on the 67-72 forums, there is a ton of info and pics on there from guys using this crossmember.

at the risk of soundin dumb, how does a z create a bumpsteer issue? all the geometry stays stock so how does it get ne worse than wat came from factory? im currently tryin to figure out the best way to do it.. i thought id z to lay frame then traditional bd to lay the body, is this not the best way??

The geometry is staying the same nothing has changed Z it!

Yeah going back and reading my post I am mistaken; doing the sectioned cross member will create bump steer issues because you're affecting the geometry, moving the suspension up and leaving the steering in the stock location will create issues. z'ing the frame would work because all the front end components will move up equally, but there are other things to take into consideration when z'ing the frame, but with the Dropmember it's all engineered and could be installed in way less time than it would take to z the frame. Time = money to me.

Dave, I finally get mu c-10 on the ground with spindles, but my frame is new front to back with a built in 2" drop in the way the xmember bolts in, only I cut off the factory upper spring pockets for the upper bag brackets.

here ya go, rich.

all you gotta do is find the pic you want to post online, right click on it, go to properties, highlight the url code, right click that, click copy, then go to your ssm thread and type and you're golden, i had to space it out or it puts a red ex, but the only place you put a space is between img and src, no spaces anywhere else. hope this helps.
