damn I forgot, FAT MAT.

That may be the case. But I still can't get fuel into the bowl for the carburetor to run off of. So the fuel doesn't even matter at this point.

Also I did get water in my tank before heading to Reso, and I just drove through it. It just ran like shit through that half a tank.

Even after I got all the old gas out and new gas in it took forever to get the truck to fire back up. It would run with a little starting fluid then die. I was at a loss much like you are. I went down the street to my neighbor(he has a 1000+ horsepower drag camaro, figured he could help) and we took the line off that goes directly into carb. He tapped on that part of the carb with a wrench while I turned the truck over. He reconnected the line and kept tapping as I turned it over. Damn thing fired up. All he said was, "huh, must of been an air bubble from all that water." I know, it makes no sense, but hell the truck ran again! Hope this helps. I'll say a prayer for you and your truck, good luck.

Well shit. I may try that. My friend just got off work I'll give him a call and have him come help since I'm stranded here alone.

Its gonna suck if I have to drain my tank. Its full.

You gotta slam your head on the steering wheel....Like Marty McFly

I tried that days ago when I was frustrated. Now I'm beyond that.

Might sound too obvious, but my mazda had a vac leak on my webber. With a mechanical pump the webber wouldnt fill with fuel. I fixed the leak, and it started right up.

Seth i'm sure you already checked all the hoses, but sounds like your stuck enough to look again.

Yeah I checked all that when I pulled it. But now there is one open hose that operates the cold start thing in the intake box. I figured it would run with it open since it has before, but I will try plugging it, and check the rest. If I can't figure it out tonight I'm going to swap my other carb on and hope for the best.

Try running a temporary hose from the inlet of the pump to a clean can of gas and see if it fires than. This would tell you to look at the truck's feed line or tank. This may seem obvious, but it is my only advice. Good luck.
