gas in australia is $1.50 a litre ( roughly
4. something litres in a gallon
so our fuel is $6 bucks a gallon and our dollar is nearly the same as yours now
it sucks cos i sold my toyota oick up for a 67 impala( what have i done)

yeah getting right up under 4.00 bucks a gallon here thank god i drive 2.83 miles each way to work and it's my 2.2l s-10 about 10 bucks a week i can deal with but an looking at getting a rex so i can start a body drop and get better gas

Russ is right. Simple supply and demand. What needs to happen is our shitty government to quit taxing the living shit out of it and give us a break. The oil companies are having record quarters, the government is spending 2 billion a month in Iraq, meanwhile the little guys like us are up to our eyes in debt trying to survive. If Washingtion D.C. would quit living the high life spending millions of dollars a year on fucking donuts, salami sandwiches, and vacations in the Bahamas maybe they wouldnt have to tax stuff like gas so much. We need a fucking minitrucker in office....it would look like this.

Beer-$500,000.00
Ramen-$10,000.00
Zip Ties-$300
Show fund-$1,000,000.00
New paint-$6,000.00
etc.

Like the economy boosting check everyone's supposed to get in May.

The US borrows 140 Billion from China, distributes it to the Public, then the public will turn around and spend it on products from China, since 90% of shit is made in China anyways. It's win win for China. Meanwhile, if it ever gets to a point that China thinks we cant pay, then China does what everybody else does, they come get their money however it may be. Everything is going up right now because of inflation. We have more money in circulation than we have in the reserves. Therefore the dollar is down in other countries. So if the dollar is only worth .50 in Japan and we buy $100 worth of electronics from Japan, then were actually only getting $50 worth of electronics, yet it's costing us double because of the dollar being down. We're to busy sending money and bodies into Iraq trying to help people who don't want to help themselves to realize we are making our own people suffer. The US needs to worry about the US and fuck everybody else. Just my .02. Sorry for the rant...i'm a little tipsy and it cost me $77 to fill my truck up tonight when it used to cost me $30. I want to go to Gator Drag which is just 2 hours away but it's going to cost me almost $300 to go. Fucking rediculous. Gas prices haven't only changed my show schedule, they've changed everything. I don't go anywhere I don't absolutely have to go. I hate gas...

I am fortunate enough to have a civic hatch for daily commute. Also, everything I need is within 5 minutes of my house including work. I fill the honda up about once every 2 weeks and it takes $26..

It will affect my show schedule this year, but I am lucky enough to have a number of the best shows on the east coast within an hour or so.. Super Truck Nats is held 5 minutes down the road aswell

I will be traveling for the ///RA show outside memphis, and more than likely ITB in indy. I'm open for some car pulling tho

Up here on the west coast of canada its 1.25 a liter wich is 4.75 a gallon.............................

did you guys know that A NEW LAW IS PASSING THAT WILL PLAY PORN ON THE GAS PUMP. SO THAT WHEN YOUR PAYING $4 A GALLON, YOUR NOT THE ONLY ONE GETTING FUxxxD

we have lcd boards by the pumps here... SOOO, they can sell the gas, and ad space while you pump..
