"built not bought"

I'm going to build a new lawnmower, build a house, and build an Aston Martin because I don't want to get hated on for built not bought. It just makes sense...

Would you bash the person who owns a Jesse James bike or a Boyd Coddinton rod just 'cause they didn't build it themselves? Highly unlikely seeing as how we would all love to have them if we could afford them ourselves.

The people who say "built not bought" have to remember that one day they are probably going to want to sell their completed project. And no one will buy them beacuse of that stupid "built not bought quote"....It's a vicious cycle that needs to stop.
