"built not bought"

I have total respect for people that buy built trucks....otherwise none of us would ever sell our old trucks and build new ones.

This topic is such a very tall two sided fence. Each side slam the other side with 'correction' and 'sense', yet nobody's going anywhere. For one, people need to realize it's nothing but personal preference, and it is a STRICTLY opinionated argument. So silly to sit back and watch this. Yes, I hate it for the dude who gets criticized for buying a built vehicle, regardless of the fact that he runs and says he did this or that to it, or not. Maybe that's the means of acceptance against the stupid fucking phrase "built not bought". I suppose it's just tough for one side to read the others' logic. For the one guy who is unable to do his own work, whether it be lack of knowledge/skill, or not having tools/workspace, or even time, and has to buy an already built project out of no other reason than that's his only choice. Versus the other guy who does have the tools, workplace, and skill to do his own thing, and either truly knows what he's doing, or does (attempts) his own work and it ends up coming out half-par. But hey, he did 'built not bought' it though, right? We could go on and on about this...

I personally hate the term 'hater' far more than 'built not bought'. But that's just me...

I dont really care if you buy it built or build it yourself.You got a fu**ing deal on that jimmy. Its a sweet ride. I have a 2000 chevy on 6s and ihave over 25g's in it without paint or interior i know i will never get the money back but i will eventually sell it and i hope that someone will want it. They will all be haters, they hate bc they couldnt affrd the jimmy. I bilt my shit bc i had the resoures to do so but i still had to buy parts from other sources. Just enjoy your ride mad F*** the haters. Later

I own a truck that was not built by me. I am making a few improvements but the majority of the work was done by previous owners.

i agree totally but around here people dont care they love to see the mini-truckin world grow one truck at a time....by the way bad ass 2 door.... mine is pretty nice for my first little trcuk..check it out a drop a tag

i have built a couple trucks over the past few years,and i'll tell you this me getting older and lazy buying is looking real nice
right about now.....besides what would people argue about if there were no stupid sayings?
