Good deal, but pretty sure those s10 coil will be MUCH stiffer and ride higher than what is in there now, even if unsprung height is less. those hilux coil s are a relatively low spring rate.
After all these little things are about 2600 lbs, not 3600 lbs.
That was why I was looking at MGB coils back then, they were about 2300 lbs with a nice spring rate, and lowering springs were about $69. 3.75" diameter, varying free heights and spring rates available:

im just going to cut mine. might adapt 89-95 spindles and brakes onto my arms, im going to look into that at the junkyard today.

my header, spark plugs, oil change, stereo, and drop blocks are all here now...ready to get put in. weber will be here in a few days. should have this thing runnin and maybe dropped by next week. ill see how the weekend goes. depends if i have a chance to get the front springs cut soon. maybe.

my stereo should be in sometime saturday. maybe friday. got the dash bezel trimmed and installed the din cage, so i just gotta run some wires and put the dash together. came out nice. weber should be here tomorrow.

im throwin the weber on tomorrow. might get to doing the header this weekend too. and some tune up stuff. i got a set of 20s for my dodge, so im kickin the 15s to the new yota. just needs tires. anyways, i think im keepin it orange/red. might do a white top...dunno. i also tinted the tail light lenses, and i plan to put a board of red leds in place of the part that has the glass blinker and turn bulbs.

i drove it home from my buddys with the choke tiewired shut so it would stay runnin. 1 bbl of air, 1 bbl of gas. haha, limped it out of the valley to the burbs.
