okay, got it dropped friday. my buddy let me borrow/trade some ford probe rims to put on it. 225/50/16s. looks good. front tucks. i cut 3 turns off the coils, removed the sway bar (it was hitting the spring cup, i gotta move the mount still) and pulled the bump stops out for now (trimming and reinstalling soon). i had to wood baseball bat the fender lips for clearance and also make room on the top of the fenderwell inside. it rubbed bad, but a hammer fixed that. i moved the coil down the fender towards the engine so there arent bolts aiming at the tire. took the nutsert bracket off the inside too. out back is 4" angled blocks and pulled bumpstops. i want to yank the middle leaf out soon. get the back down even.

anyways, heres some pictures. im 5'8 and the roof is below my shoulder level.

front dropped, but stuck on the sway bar. rear wasnt done yet.

front dropped, rear at droop with blocks on, doing a teaser pic of how giant the 20s for my other truck are on this. never going on the 78 again.

all down, runnin 195/75/14s on factory steelies and caps.

all down, runnin 225/50/16s on ford probe rims.

and thats a shortie 78 under the tarp in the back ground. its what i swapped wheels with. and its not as low as mine. and yes, i left the factory mud flaps on. for shits and giggles.

i gotta section the carrier crossmember before the back goes lower though. it drags sometimes. haha.

damn, ware do you guys find these trucks lol

i paintlessed the few dings in the fenders and bed today too. round end of a wood bat and a dollie. not perfect, but alot better. works for me. with the way the factory spot welds the wheel tub to the outer skin, you cant get straighter than all the circles they left anyways.

thatk god you took that 20 off! i thought i threw up in my mouth for a minute there...

kick ass truck man! if you ever paint it, you should bob the bed!
