heres those pictures. i also got a new valance lens and took the bumper feet off. havent really done anything else. well, stick on dollar store cup holder to the floor...if that counts.
and here was me throwing the bumper for luckys yota onto my truck for laughs before i put it in the garage. its an 89-95 2wd bumper and valance. shaved it together, nothin else special. i dont like how it looks on my truck though. but hey, its not for mine.
and a few things about the pictures to answer before its asked...1. no i dont have those speakers hooked up nor did i put them in. i havent replaced them and wired them in yet. im runnin off the stock dash speaker. haha.2. no the buckets arent stock, mine isnt an sr5. was done before i got it. yes, there is a block of wood under the back mounts shimming them up.3. yes, that is an old tire chains box between the seats. it came with the truck, its my console for now.4. the block of wood holds up that ducting, because its got some broken mounting tabs. again, was like that when i got it.5. yes, i flared the hell out of the fender lips for tire clearance, and i have full lock with only minor rubbing (to be fixed very soon)6. the mirror is off of a squareback VW wagon i found at an abandoned house. 7. and yes, the stereo really says low lux on it. i changed it from AUX 1 to that. haha.

oh, and the last thing is...i put the stock base model shifter knob from my old 92 on there. after like 10 different ideas i tried on there, i stuck with that.
its had the stock base model version that didnt have the top pattern layout disc, then i put the 92 base model on, then i put a brass skull i made in high school on, tried a big goofy fiat one i had, an acura one, a talking shrek action figure (still talked when installed), a 77 SR5 wood grain and chrome one, a billet one i got at schmucks that didnt fit (took it back) and i want to say i tried one more. ended up going back to the 92. haha. im going to do a chrome short shift arm soon and put yet another knob on. ive got a few ideas for that.

so the other night i started pokin under the dash and takin measurements. when i get caught up on bills, im going to tub the front, move the clutch and brake masters, and relocate my shit. i figure if i gotta do it for my static drop, i might as well do it for when i door the fucker. truck should be a pretty simple body drop. ill end up doing all my crossmember and exhaust tucking, and the body drop of the bed all ahead of time. that way when i bag it, its just bagging it. not all at once. and the cab to body. thats probably next spring at the earliest though. i gotta rocker my ramcharger still too. thats all on hold though til i start makin good money again.
oh, and does anybody happen to know of a windsheild lock strip and seal? i need one so bad. i can get the glass out of something else not broken. and i need a back window seal too. would a 90s yota one work?
