without jumping on the bandwagon, i'm just wondering why you wouldn't do it better the first time? then say you'll do it again? my toy looked a lot like that (when i bought it) & it took me forever to try & grind down all those "globs" of welds. so much that i found it easier to just re-back half it.
these hack jobs make no sence to me because there's SAFETY involved here! if my wife & kids got killed on the freeway because some dipshit's truck came apart at 65mph, the fucker that did the work would be swallowing the barrel of my .45
i'm not saying you deserve to die or anything (because this kid's obviously smart enough to not be driving the thing) but even if you don't have a wife & kids, how'd you feel if this kid killed you mom or siblings or some shit.
if i got shafted on money by a customer, i'd be dumping off the rig & all the boxes of parts in front of their house put together or not, not allowing something dangerous to leave my shop. another reason is because "that broke-ass dipshit" can (& JUST DID) trash your good name.
no one will remember the thousands of killer rides i've painted, but i promise they'll ALWAYS remember the $400 "quicky" to help out a starving college student. & the first thing he says at shows is that i painted it, NOT THAT WE USED CHEAP MATERIALS & HE WAS A CHEAP-ASS!!
just some advise that if you aren't capable or the customer can't afford your quality, DON"T DO IT...
