shit work is shit work and good work is good work. cant be both. apparently at that time u did shit work. u shouldnt have done it to begin with. to me ur sorry as hell as a person if u let that leave ur driveway. i guess u said to yourself "ehh...i dont have the time for this so ill just throw on some snot bubble welds and let it ride." thats like playing russian roulette with his truck imo. if u do shit work, regardless of if its ur first ever customer job, its shit work. dont take on projects that you cant safely handle. you might do quality work now but it doesnt matter cuz u let 1 hack job leave ur driveway/shop. to me if u do shit work u should get bashed. end of story. do u ever see folks bashing Seth's work? Max's work? Aaron Iha's work,? NO! wonder why that is? would u want a doctor to put half the stitches back in you after surgery just cuz he didnt feel like doing it right that time? FUCK NO!

I agree that this should have been kept between the builder and customer. But I also agree it should not have left like that. I learned my lesson with billing. But I still finished everything up with quality in mind, and just left some small odds and ends to be done they can easily finish. Interior assembly basically. Now if I get someone that doesn't like the price, or says "I have X amount of money to spend." I tell them "X amount of money gets you X amount of work, and nothing more." I won't stretch myself out and do more work at lower quality for the same price.

Ima gonna call bullshit on that one.I run a business and never not even my first one looked that bad. Also you don't go from that to spittin out kickass work, just don't change like that.A job reflects a persons personality.

I think the point of this thread was to warn people of the work that you did on his truck and that they may get the same kind of work if they go to you. He didn't post this in a public forum to have a "A" and "B" conversation. You have no one to blame but yourself as you performed all the work on this truck. Good times or bad, you and only you, have an obligation as the business owner to do quality work. The people that are posting are pissed because of the unsafe welds and fabrication that was done to this truck. It makes me very upset that you would even put something like that out on the road and put my wife and childs life in danger. It also upsets me that I made you aware of the unsafe things that were done to Andy's (onelow96cs's) truck and you did the same thing to this truck. You have the drive to build some cool stuff you just need to work on your skills and knowledge of chassis and suspension fabrication.
