where were you on 9/11/01 ???

i was flipping through the calendar today and realized we were only 5 days from the anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks so i thought id make this thread in its remembrance...

my story:

i was working in Ft Myers Florida at the time at a Tires Plus... i was working the sales counter in the office. i remember someone out in the shop telling us to turn on the tv bacause he had just heard on the radio that a plane flew into the trade center buildings (probably same story as most) anyway, what a chaotic day as we sat and watched the tv.

long story short- i remember closing the store early that day despite my asshole district managers instructions. i went to pick up logan at school then went home and found myself glued to the tv the rest of that night.

you could have heard a pin drop that night around the neighborhood...

what a horrific day that most of us will never forget...

***8th grade science class,got an announcement over the intercom and didn't work for the frest of the day.

911 was an inside job

^^ Weird I was in 9th grade science class 1st period lol.

Senior year in high school we got the announcement to turn the TV's on and seen the second plane crash into the twin towers live. We all were shocked and pissed!

on my way to work when it was announced over the radio and stood in the sales floor and watched the second plane hit and pretty much stood there with all my coworkers for the rest of the day between jobs....we also closed early....

well, lets remember that someone on this site could have had a loved one that got injured/killed in that mess, so lets keep those thoughts to a minimal out of respect! cool?

I was at work,at the dealership.came back in from standing outside smoking and the place was empty!I walked around for a minute and found every fkn employee in the waiting lounge watching the tv..strange day for sure.

my total at the gas station today was $9.11 and on my credit card slip i signed "remember bitches"

i wouldn't really call it a terrorist attack. unless you are calling the U.S. government terrorists, which is basically the case. anyways, i was in school when it happened. tragic day for sure!
