Joe, I have ordered many things from Chassis Tech for my own truck, and for friends vehicles. not all, but many of the parts i have purchased or installed broke within 3 months of the installation. the most problematic parts i have used are your valves and pressure switches. I have also seen the shafts on your air cylinders break on different cars, more than once. i am absolutely positive all of the parts were installed correctly, in fact they all worked fine for a few months. I understand that your company has had quality issues, and no company makes perfect products everytime; however, here are some suggestions from me:
after you ship an order, stop being so passionate about your strict return policy. In differnt cases i would side with the customer or with you depending on the situation, but putting the return policy fine print on every document you ship with the product makes us feel like you have washed your hands of us after we gave you our money. you may not see it that way, but thats how many of us feel.
stop charging so much for shipping. many of us buy and sell online and are well aware of how much it costs to ship something. we know the costs dont add up. maybe its handling? i understand it consumes resources to package parts and coordinate shipments, but your competitors dont charge as much for shipping and handling, so it must not be that labor intensive to pack a box.
stop telling us smart customers buy from you. if someone doesnt want to buy from you, or use your products, respect it. make them want to buy from you buy offering better parts and designs. The real way to show your credibility is to turn a scoffer into a customer.
operate under one name. your numerous divisions make people feel like you have something to hide. you may have a marketing reason for it, but to us it looks like you are trying to stay one step ahead of a bad reputation by just distributing products under different names. pick a name, stick with it, and stand behind it.
quit the product knock-offs. nothing says cheap like an imitation. selling a kit that has a very similar name to another companys design is an insult. make your own design that outperforms the competitor and take pride in it. better designs always prevail. if you cant make a better one dont try to trick newcommers by offering a knock-off.
I am willing to bet many of the complaints you have recieved on this thread are NOT from people who saved thier receipt in hopes that one day you would realize you have upset them and suddenly want to make it right. I think its awesome you are listening to us and trying to change according to the feedback. I could send you a box full of parts i removed from my truck after i replaced them in hopes that you will make it right, but i am not willing to instantly shift all my business to chassis tech in exchange, i personally would want to see your comapny change its direction first. Then i would be impressed. I gotta give you credit so far, it looks like your taking the first steps in the right direction.
