Anyone that makes any purchases in the near future if you could please respond on here with how things turn out it would be great.

I only wish this was available about 6 years ago but none the less I think its great that you are taking the time to do what should have been done awhile back. I like a lot others learned the hard way but I wish you well for the future Mr. Morrow.

Joe, I sent you an email right after the SSM vs AIM incident. I'm happy to see a turn for the better on all parties so far. I'll consider purchasing from your company (your the only one in the business making spindles for the Mighty Max), but have a question. There is a loyal following over at Mightyd50.com and we had a post awhile back about this photo off your site. They don't look like control arms for our trucks. And if they were, we'd be needing some other parts to make that lower work. So the question I have is, can you have someone update the site? Because believe some other pictures are incorrect and could cause confusion! Thanks.

Yes, I admit to using generic photos because there are so many applications, no excuse, and I will upload the correct photos within 48hrs. Can't correct all issues overnite, but I will start with this one.

Thank you for your pointing this out. check the website in about 48hrs.

Regards,Joe MorrowTravis...I need the correct picture for this SKU of what the D50 should have. Travis, pls set out parts for photo in the AM. Tx Joe

The correct image will not be on the site until Monday afternoon.

Tx Joe Morrow

Geez, even Brad (Balzout Sparkin) is actually a good guy and is going to give me a chance.

That made me laugh! I really am a good guy and I think that what is going on here is a good thing, but I'll have to have proof. I'll give anyone another chance at anything if they deserve it. Best of luck Joe.

this was my one and only experience with AIM and it was in 2002 or 3. I ordered a full air canister kit for a 94 accord wagon and attempted to get some taillights as well. the sales department wasn't knowledgeable on the parts. I have work for a aftermarket supplier so I know the process of inbound sales calls. It took three different shipments to get the parts and the taillights never arrived. I called back to the sales group and was told that there wasn't any taillights for the 94 wagon just the sedan/coupe. I was charged for that part so apparently the agent that took the call never looked at the actual application of said part. I was told I could not get a refund only a credit. When I went to use the credit the only thing I could find to purchase was a water/oil trap as I had just purchased all the parts I needed. When I paid the purchase price and high shipping fee I still had approx 15 dollars left and no way to get that money or spend that money. Now 15 dollars is not a big deal but just the overall experience really made me not want to deal with the company again.

Mind you this was a long time ago, I am just glad to see that this thread was created and Joe is responding. I want to thank both JOE and KRIS for creating this thread and working together to show the minitruck community that things can change with AIM

I've had some experiences with AIM components and all of them were bad. I've never had experience with their sales department tho, I would always buy through a distributor to sidestep them.

Anyway, any compressor from them that has come into my shop was blown. Every valve was inoperable. Obviously I can't vouch for how these components were treated since I didnt install them, but I would always replace them with reputable products.

The one time I did a major install with AIM was a '01 Maxima, they had the only strut kit listed that would fit, and after some modification it wasnt too bad to install. Howvever one year later the customer complained that the car wasnt drivable over 30mph, after pulling the suspension apart it was obvious the strut was broken in half inside of the bag. Of course there was no warranty so he had to purchase an entire new front kit, which had also risen in price dramatically. This car was show only and driven only on the weekends so if it was a daily it wouldn't have lasted as long. I'm not looking for a refund or credit (wouldn't take it anyway) since I wasnt the customer but I just figured I'd put the story out there.

Well, I'm glad to see you're finally stepping up with what you said you would do and backing your products and trying to make deals right.

That said, I'm still not sure I'd buy from you after I went through hell trying to get the airstruts that were on my car fixed since they leaked. I just got told there was nothing you could do since I didn't buy them from you personally, even after I offered to help cover the costs of replacement/repair. I've since ripped out the entire set up and will be re-doing it. Just wish the struts I want didn't cost $2250.

Joe,

A great way to show the minitruckin' community you care would be to be a vendor at a show and sit face to face with you clients.

If you're interested, I am the man behind the "bring the noize" car show thrown in Glendale, AZ every year. It's the biggest minitruck inspired show in AZ. Ask around to anyone who attends shows to see if they agree with me.

Great to see you making such a huge effort to make things right! And...sorry for my shameless plug

OK Aaron,I will make myself available to personally meet you and convince you to be our representative. Just give me the chance... Email me when you want to meet and it SHALL BE DONE. thank you, Joe Morrow

LOL "IT SHALL BE DONE" Is Joe Morrow the MiniTruckin' Jesus?

Anyway, thanks for hooking me up with some drop spindles! thanks, Frank
