Joe I have a quick question. Is this actually you respoding to all these questions today?

I will vouch for him. Yes it is him in personYes, I have worn my keyboard out today. I can't get any of my normal work done, but I must admit I needed to get it out there long ago, but I so not think the forum's would allow me to.

Thanks to Kris Bloom, it actually happened. No one wants to go on a forum to see a stack of hate mail and bashing. To me, your community overall has shown me that there are members out there that want it taken to a higher level, and I intend to do that with the HELP of the community.

Thank you,Joe Morrow

Joe that is awesome. I know you're a busy man and to take the time to address the problems on this board just put you on the top of my list to call if I need something. Honestly we(costumers) can buy parts anywhere and not all of us price shop. I look for service first price second... no matter what. And a company that offers both has my business for life. No matter how many people offer it cheaper.

I think a lot of the problem is most people shop the same way on everything, so the ones who shop for PRICE ONLY are used to bad service. So when something goes wrong they try and resolve it ONCE and if it doesn't happen they don't try again (assuming you won't help them) and just slam you on some board instead. If these people would be as diligent to resolve a problem as they where going through every mag and ad to find the cheapest price maybe it would have been resolved. If people do not see now that you really have and do try to resolve every issue within reason then you don

Joe,i think i and it seems many of us on here truly do commend what your doing. To be honest i never have ordered anything from AIM,therefore i have no feedback as far as parts, shipping,or anything else described on here.I must admit when i got this issue of MT with the NR ranger on the cover your adds really stood out this month.I just though if you focused more on your sales pitch over, everythings made in china so dont believe the others and the whole AVS situation it wouldnt have come off so wrong,I know this was probably mentioned and honestly i didnt read all 15 pages but i will say i truly appreciate what your doing and it seems you understand now where mistakes were made.I hope all goes well with getting things straightened out and i hope the best for your company.
thanks
Casey

This is pretty impressive for both Joe Morrow and SSM. Im impressed that someone that owns such a large company has come onto our forums to make things right, it's been a long time coming. Im equally impressed on how this thread has not turned negative.

Everyone wins on this one. Hat off to Joe Morrow. But I do have a question a bit off subject. Joe, what type of vehicles do you own?

i havent posted on this site in well over 6 months, but i just spent the last hour reading through most of the posts here so i figure i would give my input. its good to see that there are some possitive feedbacks mixed in with that bad. it seems most of the bad is not recent, which shows that aim has made some strives to improve their products. i've never dealt with AIM,(i've had 2 juiced cars, no air) but as i get ready to bag my truck i think i'd give joe my business.

After the quick response I got in this thread and reading every post since I'm debating on giving them another chance however after losing out on $500 it's still hard to bring myself to chancing another loss like that. Anyone that makes any purchases in the near future if you could please respond on here with how things turn out it would be great.

yeah someone that has bought from aim recently please post!i need some seals for my targa top,but i don't want to buy some crap and get ripped(put on hold, ignored) on by someone on the phone!

AIM sells the same seals it has sold for over 20 years. We do not build the seals, the manufacturer is Clean Seal in Indiana. I have to defend Clean Seal, they are not crap. You can also go to a local supply where they sell canvas and sewing materials. Thank you for your post, Joe Morrow

Joe, I am the buddy of lwrlvl. I did send you an email regarding the situation, and the information you requested. I have to agree with the majority that customer service is the biggest issue. In the end, it all relates back to "the customer is always right". I deal with customer service evryday, though not in this type of industry. I know what it's like to have to deal with customers who are not happy, I do not want to be an unhappy customer.Roadracer,Pls send me another email to joe@chassistech.com I want to make sure nothing falls thru the cracks.Thank you, Joe Morrow

To Pat Burke,
Pat, I am going to post your thread here and answer below.

this was my one and only experience with AIM and it was in 2002 or 3. I ordered a full air canister kit for a 94 accord wagon and attempted to get some taillights as well. the sales department wasn't knowledgeable on the parts. I have work for a aftermarket supplier so I know the process of inbound sales calls. It took three different shipments to get the parts and the taillights never arrived. I called back to the sales group and was told that there wasn't any taillights for the 94 wagon just the sedan/coupe. I was charged for that part so apparently the agent that took the call never looked at the actual application of said part. I was told I could not get a refund only a credit. When I went to use the credit the only thing I could find to purchase was a water/oil trap as I had just purchased all the parts I needed. When I paid the purchase price and high shipping fee I still had approx 15 dollars left and no way to get that money or spend that money. Now 15 dollars is not a big deal but just the overall experience really made me not want to deal with the company again.

Mind you this was a long time ago, I am just glad to see that this thread was created and Joe is responding. I want to thank both JOE and KRIS for creating this thread and working together to show the minitruck community that things can change with AIMJayme,If you did not get a plain refund, then we would be 100% WRONG! Please give me the name/address/phone and a copy of this posting to joe@chassistech.com so I can confirm this. I will refund your $15.00 and send you a T-Shirt. Thank you for your posting, Joe Morrow

To all SSM members...
Thank you for giving me civil emails to reply to. I have absolutely no problem hearing reports of actual problems and moving forward to correct them. This is not so much a change of heart by my companies, but rather a venue to get your complaint to the RIGHT PERSON! Please do not ever try to call me because I truly am never in the office. I don't want you to think I am trying to dodge anyone. If you want to talk to me, then just email me your phone number and I will simply call you back.

Also, please remember that I am on the computer perhaps 12hrs a day on average, but I do take time to sleep and do something with the family on weekends and time to time.

Every company in this business first starts out as a one man show. As you grow, you add people. Each person you add, creates a less efficient operation. We have 50 people on the premises, and I have to say the hardest thing about running a business is controlling the actions of your staff. However, I do accept responsibility for their actions, but I just have to know about it. My door is always open. If you are not satisfied, then you know what to do.. email joe@chassistech.com I will personally monitor the resolution and responses.
Thank you,
