Swifty,I will look into the issue today and report back to you. Initially it sounds like upper arms would have solved this. In any event, back to you with info before the end of the day.Thank you,Joe Morrow
Joe, I have used many of your suspension products on my vehicles. For the most part I have never had a complaint. I had a set of your spindles on my '01 sierra. your instructions had me flip the upper a arms and switch sides, driver to passenger n passenger to driver. I busted at least 4 upper ball joints In about 6 months. That pushed me to buy a set of belltec spindles and put my upper arms back to stock position. I have never had a problem since. Not trying to sound like a d!@k but I havn't made a purchase from your comp. since. I'm just doing this to bring the problems to your attention. Good luck I think your doing the rite thing by trying to make good to your customers.
Here is the posting as
promised:Joe, this is a tough one because we don't have all of the information about this guy's truck. How much its lowered. if its on air, (if so does it lay frame) and what size wheels does it have? But here's what I do know. Our GM 99 spindles drop the truck 2". Belltech makes a 2" drop spindle that is EXACTLY the same as ours. They also make a 3" drop spindle . I'm not positive, but I'll assume that the the belltech 3" spindle uses a similar design as Mgauagys. They use a totally different casting than ours and they get away from having to flip and switch ball joints by machining a blind hole for the wheel bearing to mount to instead of thru bolting as the factory spindles and ours do. This is how they eliminate the ball joint to wheel bearing interference problem. But, back to the original question. When comparing our drop spindles to Belltech's 2" drop spindles, we should be exactly the same. When our spindles are compared to Belltech's 3" spindles, they have us beat on amount of drop, and ease of installation
