The reason the upper bag mount appears to be bent up is because of the angle of the shot as well as the fact that the part doesn't have parallel bends.

Which means that from the angle of the picture which is slightly from the passenger side the glare from the above lights looks like the plate is pointing upwards. I recreated the illusion with the attached image.

Before everybody starts lighting torches and sharpening their pitchforks we need a better picture from behind the truck. Also, I would like to see a square up against the bag plate and the inside of the frame rail showing that the plate has been welded out of square. If we confirm that there is a problem with the plate I will have one shipped immediately but I doubt this will be necessary.

Everyone seems to be an expert on our quality all of a sudden. We will address any Quality Issues if you can just identify them for me.

Plug n Play wire Gauge?
Braided Hose Quality?
Gauge of Metal Quality?
Welding Quality?

Please be specific instead of just stirring the pot.

I will answer each honest question, but not insinuations or conjecture. I know that there are those out there that just want to hear bad things, but lets get serious and move forward.

Thank you for clearing up my questions Joe.

Based upon the images provided I can say that the wiring is sufficient for both valves as well as compressor and the fittings (which i will agree are designed for a universal application) appear to be of decent quality.

I did however notice this....

Notice how it is designed in solidworks... The plug and play unit is to be mounted on an angle and the plug and play text is to be right side up when read from the rear of the truck. It appears to be mounted backwards and incorrectly. If mounted at an angle as it was designed then the airline would not have been an issue I think.

I wouldn't argue with the design isn't correct just that there appears to be some variation from either side of the bag plates. I would say the passenger side is ok but I would like to see the drivers side with a level or angle finder on it and compare that to the passenger side. BTW the frame model looks sick. Hook a brotha up... ill trade ya!

imo the bag plate to rail look pretty square. the whole driverside rail looks whacked, like the truck was hit @ one point. anyone ever think the point where new clip attaches tweaked out? either from accident or when the rear clip/crossmembers were cut off.

just a possiblity i thought of.

I do have to say one thing if the guys designing the products had a little more freedom, AIM would be on top of the suspension market. i know these guys and they are all suspension geniuses live, breathe, sleep this stuff. they just work for someone who wants to be on top no matter what it costs. and even though me and Joe have our differences i think he has seen the errors in his ways and really is trying to turn things around. and at this point in the game if i wouldn't be arrested or get verbally attacked id go down and order an air kit for my own car. because i cant find one anywhere and don't have my own machines to make the struts.

this a big change for me and i have been on some of the other forums and i think joe you do get a bad rap most of the things said about you and aim are about issues from years and years ago and a lot of things have changed since then.

to the other forum readers Joe has always cared about quality the thing is stuff does happen and he doesn't see every product that goes out the door but part of the problem was the shipping department wasn't 100 percent clear on the products and what the are suppose to look like. and I'm sure they are much more knowledgeable and any parts with quality issue are taken care of i hope.

as for Colby i think he got in over his head and didn't take the time to do the proper research and prolly wanted to get the job done quick and made stupid mistakes and now wants Joe to pay for it i mean the front end set up clearly states designed to lay out on 22s i know cuz i had a big part of design that kit. and now he is complaining about not enough lift when he is running 17s and it seem joe is be pretty damn patient about dealing with him. when i sell my parts you f**k up the install ill help you resolve the issue but if it requires extra parts because of your screw up then your paying for it not me.

well thats my $.02 on things so far back to work for me.

Matt,
Your posting was surprisingly objective. And yes, Colby was in over his head and I have been willing to pay for HIS mistakes.

One thing though.. The R&D department does have TOTAL freedom.. Jeez, I haven't even spent 40 hours in the building in the past 13 months.

Thank you for your posting,

well i ordered some brackets and cylinders from AIM everything showed up in a timely manner,i was pleased with the quality. the only problem i had was the 2 rear cylinders were left off the order,so they had to send them out the following week, and the rear brackets needed 6 bolts and there was only 4,but a quick run down to home depot and i had what i needed to finish the job. now i could have been on the phone raiseing hell but whats the point we all make mistakes and good help is hard to find. it is extremely hard to hire people who take pride in their job as the owner of a company does. you can be the most stand up guy but if your employees are not happy then they can ruin your companys name. you can do 99 good things and 1 slip up and your labled an ass,or that your company sucks. i ordered a set of easy street guages from GFC which i used to work at over 3 weeks ago and they still have not showed up yet. i am not pissed at my friends at GFC but at easy street for dropping the ball. i guess that is the nature of the beast when mail ordering anything. you are at the mercy of the people in the shipping depatrment, hope they are uin a good mood or you will never get your stuff, just my $.02

Donut..Travis is shipping will respond this morning to your posting. Yes, bad news travels fast, and I am not going to be happy if this happened in the past 3-4 months, because we have not been out of cylinders in the past 3-4 months.

Thank you for your posting.. stay tuned...
