Attempt to claim a realistic warranty. I purchased some airbags, and have been very unimpressed. I however understand you get what you pay for, and have never slammed your company. I have infact promoted you in every one of my posts, because I had good service.

However I did attempt to contact your company on more than one occasion for possible warranty on an airbag. Even though I had problems with 3 of 4 of them. I was hoping to just get a warranty for a leak along the center joint of the bellow.

Regardless of which, I just wanted to let you know, I tried to contact your company 3 times, and received no response each time. Not including 2 posts in threads you started on this forum, and others.

JOE,

An issue I had YEARS ago, so Im not looking for anything to come of this.

Saw your add for "sport mirrors." Called, asked if they would fit the 4door F150 Supercrews, told "yes." I order a set. They come, do not fit (found out later regular cabs and supercrews were NOT the same mirror bases!), and I'm sent two driver side mirrors, but driver and passenger side bases. I call to explain that they #1 do not fit, and #2 was sent two of the same side mirrors!

I was greeted with attitude, and being talked to like I had no idea how to install them, being told the whole time they, "fit all body style F150's!"

That was my last dealing with AIM.

Chris

Chris,My shipping Manager, Travis was 18years old when he started with this company 12 years ago. Travis has made his share of mistakes and believe me, he is a 30year old moving towards 40. Travis will become an owner of this company next January because HE HAS LEARNED from his mistakes. I actually recall the CrewCab issue. We all learned from that one.I simply apologize for their attitude, but I promised you they learned.

Sincerely,Joe Morrow

No offense intended here either Joe, have bought some of your bags (even had one leak, and was given a new one promptly after I sent the bad one back on my dime) but I have to call BS on the whole "Nissan made a rear end with a bolt on cover" statement. I've always been curious how you guys could sell a "bolt-in" kit for Nissans considering the welded axle and that the frame is boxed for a good portion of the rear. Not trying to start anything, but I know Nissans and Datsuns (owned a '97 hb) and couldn't keep my mouth shut about it. If you could show me a Nissan with a bolt on rear diff cover, I'll give you a thousand sorry's. But, since at least 1963 the axles have always had a solid rear diff housing.

That is what I thought but was not sure so I did not want to call him out on it. But know I know.

hey joe,
a few years ago I bought some dakota control arms and they severely warped my bags and could have punctured them had I not caught it. Further they put my ball joints in a horrible bind. I still have the control arms and have went so far as to modify the upper mounting point, that they bolt to, but its still not working. The arms are in great condition as they have never seen road use and have been in a garage the entire time. Is there anything you can do to help me?

I havent had a problem with AIM. On my Mazda i got a 4-link, dual needle air gaiges, shaved door kit, and drop spindles. All that has been on my truck since 2003 and havent had any problems. I just ordered a new 4-link a few months back and it came with black powdercoated 4link ends. In the adds it says they come with chrome and my old one came with chrome. I emailed and I think it was Travis emailed me back and said he would ship the chrome ones out when they came in at no charge. He emailed me when they came in and had them a few days later. Thanks!!

I've used your products for years on hard to get parts for trucks,i.e 1st gen dakotas had the usual problems but made it work. I have also had issues with your shocks being to big but ended up using them on a different rig. One of my problems is that I've bought 2 of your digital air gauges and had problems with the sending units leaking at the crimp on the body. Luckily I had 2 of them so I could make one good one. Honestly I had given up on making the other one work because of the runaround with the shocks. My other problem is that I bought 3 sets of 4 bags from you and each time specified that I wanted 2 in each size(2500/2600) and each time I got 2600s. Its not that big of a deal other than 2600 wont fit in the front of the rides that I wanted to put them on. So I ended up getting the 2500s from another source so I could finish them. I am glad to see you on here because your company has alot of cool parts and issues like this makes one not want to buy your products.

Just a quick note for you on the ball joint adapter plates for the 86-93 mazda spindles. The hole size is too loose for for the ball joint to achieve a tight press fit. It didn't matter for my particular application as I had custom arms that had their own ball joint housings. I'm not seeking restitution or anything like that, just something for you to look into if you like.
