The people that bought my truck have attorneys calling me becuase "they aren't happy with what they got" and "it wasn't what they expected"

I told them it was primer, I told them the interior needed to be finished, and i told them it basically just needed some minor bodywork and a paintjob. It didn't have a back window, but they could insure it and claim the window.

They got it for less than 1/3 the amount in reciepts i had stacked up and sent with the truck. Now they want to try and take me to court because it's not what htey expected, they never had anyone come look at it, they went off emails and like 3 pictures. Not to mention I had to miss a day and a half of work to deal with their shit cuz they wanted to rush EVERYTHING. they wanted the title over nighted before i ever got money, i agreed, they wanted the truck on its way before the wire transfer went through, i agreed, and they wanted it all done ASAP so i had to miss work to get shit notarized and mailed and copied etc etc. Not to mention I had to leave work early cuz they scheduled the truck to be picked up the minute i said ok schedule a pick up and next think i know a driver just happens to be in my area within 45 minutes.

Is there any possible way they could win? My mautofied add basically said "shaved bagged bodydropped suicide doors 22's" and when they asked i told them what was shaved and that the frame was painted.

I think they are at fault for not having anyone look at the truck before buying it. They got the title, gave me money, i let the carrier pick the truck up.

Did anything say sold as is?

you are fine. as long as they accepted the vehicle in its current condition they cant do shit. I am pretty sure all used vehicles are sold in "AS IS" condition. and its the buyers responsibility to have the vehicle checked out. I wouldnt worry about it. what is the main issue they are having with your truck?

You should have also done it with a bill of sale, stating truck is sold "as is". You may be in for a ride if you dont have something like that.

ive seen the same situation on Judge Judy , someone buaght a car that wasnt all they were expecting it to be and it was the buyers fault.

i told them it needed paint job and interior to finish, but thats based on how id finish it. tho it does need a lil more how a truck is finished is different to everyone.

there was nothing we could sign to say as is im in AZ they are in IN. It was basically over night title, wire my money, ship the truck. now they "arent happy with what they got"

To me it isnt my problem...they should have 1-had someone in AZ look at it, or 2-flown down and looked at it themselves.

When we bought jenns tacoma I had 2 or 3 people in california go look at it before we even made arrangements to pick it up or finalized anything.

Smart vs. Dumb - to me they were dumb.

wow you are trusting, with all the scammers out there, there is no way I would have shipped the title and truck without money in hand. Goodluck, I think you are ok, but anything bagged I have sold I made them sign something stating it was for show and offroad use only, lol.

wire transfer should have been a fair warning.....thats how a LOT of scams are pulled.

the whole thing seems shady really. 3 pictures, seems like no details were discussed, they just bought a truck and hoped the owner would be a moron.
