---------------------------------------------Originally posted by B rad rangeron22zAnd Mccain would be doing better? There is a lot more to government than one person. Most of government is corrupt from being paid off my HUGE corporate American companies.Let me rephrase, America is controlled by those HUGE corporate companies.Once everyone stops pointing fingers and understands that you cant blame one person, and take their .0000000000000001% of responsibility for the situation we are in, the better.Jance, just lost a lot of respect for posting propaganda. --------------------------------------------- Yes, there is a lot more to government than one person. And my criticism is aimed at our liberal majority in government as a whole, not just our new president, but congress as well. Now with a liberal majority in congress and the most extreme liberal executive leader in our history, there is no check for their agenda. We were already on a slippery financial slope heading toward an enormous national debt under Bush (who for all intents and purposes was a financial liberal). Now this new administration's answer is to step on the gas and throw more money at the problems, almost ensuring that we will saddle our great grand children with the burden of our debt. You asked if McCain would do any better, that will never be answered now, but I am sure that he would have done differently, considering that he is at least somewhat fiscally conservative. If you review past administrations everything seems to go the best when we have a moderate president (either moderate liberal or conservative) and a congress that had a slight opposing majority, that helps enforce the checks and balances system that this government was supposed to be based upon. As it is now there is a very liberal congress being lead by an extremely liberal president, and this will undoubtedly lead to wild spending and ultimately a nearly insurmountable national debt, unless the people stand up to be heard that we will not stand for this. There are many other facets of this current circumstance that I do not like, but I would have to write a book to underline it all, and this seems to be the most immediate problem facing this country.
