Not going to lie, I have been to shows in the pacific nw where douchbaggetry was on full display, they aren't excluded from that stuff. Living in Portland our crew would only roll down for Dropzone for one day and that was a two or three day show. Seems like when the days went dark it got real scketchy. Negative Beavior used to throw a show each year up in the seattle area and it was ok but it was there to a certain extent too. I remember seeing a truck bed full of beer cans at the NB show and the next day after the awards were handed out the cans were all dumped out of the truck and it was gone. Our group spent 2.5 hours picking up beer cans from that truck. Not to mention the fights and all that stuff too... To be honest that show alone ruined truck runs for me and that was 2000-2001 time period.  Guess the point is, there are D'bags all over the place and they ruin shows, we have seen it for years and years. Its going to take strict enforcement like at the RA show to make sure that stuff doesnt happen, or happen for long. That being said, we can all vow to make the show better for the guy or girl next to you by addressing the issues as they come up, be it trash on the ground or trash talking. If each of us fixes these problems the shows might come back! As for the videos, if they would also pledge to not let the bad behavior make it into thier videos we might be able to make some headway but its not entirely on thier shoulders! You have a club memeber that whips out his sack to run it across someones forehead I would expect someone to fix that problem asap.

Props to you guys!

I agree to a certain extent. But not going to shows isn't gonna fix the problem. This topic is always brought up and u have tons of people saying the scene is goin to shit because guys at shows get out of hand...guys that say that they don't go to shows because of the nonesense..like them not going is helping the scene. How about the guys who say the scene is dieng get off their asses and go to shows and set a good example. Show people u can have a good time without tearing shit up. All the old timers complain about the new guys not acting right. Well where are the role models at to teach em any better. Not going to shows isn't the answer. Going to shows and taking control of our scene is the answer.

that was a good read, I always enjoy going to Sittin Prettis show, its definatly one to make for anyone wanting a good time, and a nice relaxing show, with some good atmosphere. I was a little pre-occupied this year with how busy I got with cleaning and such, but I look forward to next years show, its already been placed on my calender, whenever it may be. Also I really look forward to your new website for your new dvd, and coverage from the show. Not often we get to see our local stuff on DVD.  -Brad

I appreciate you guys taking the time to read my article. Again, I am not trying to preach, we all have fallen victim to getting a little out of hand here and there. I just wanted to share our experience.
