Jeremy does awesome work.... if i was out west id have him build a frame for me

--------------------------------------------

He does vehicles for people from far away. That what trailers are for.

it would cost me an outrageous amount to trailer something out to arizona and back.... 2 times..... it cost too much to drive cross country anyways..

I have been working full speed on the wiring. Jeremy had the accuair fully functioning and wired up nicely but I wanted to hide it all.

I cut out the Accuair brain mount and cut an opening below it for the wires to come through.

I opened up the bottom of the back crossmember and stuffed the wiring, big fuse, and relay inside. The little beauty holes made this challenging. I also drilled out the frame rails so the wires can pass through the crossmember to the framerails. I ended up drilling a hole into each beauty hole and ran the compressors and pressure switch wires into the crossmember through them.

The level sensor wires are now ran through frame and exit behind the connector.

The controller wire goes down the left frame rail and exits mid frame runs along brake tube and into the back of the cab

I made a cover to cover the newly hacked up crossmember and wiring.

I flipped the Accuair so the connectors face downward so the wiring is less noticeable. I also lengthened the harness that connects thebrain to VU-4 so they can go through the crossmember. I had to make a bracket to hold the brain. A couple airlines were moved under the crossmember.

I routed the battery cables to the rear of the truck. The power goes into a tube and then in the crossmember and down the right framerail. Since it is carbed there is not very much engine wiring.

Bungs welded on radiator for fan sensor and gauge sensor

Not sure how well that valve cover breather is going to work. If the breather isnt about the valve cover oil will just run out of the filter. Mines on top and it still sprays a small amount of oil out.

Damn! Holy crap... it's been a crazy week (and month) =( but seeing some major progress like this cheers me right up! Can't wait to pick it up and see it in person - really appreciate all the extra help and support through these times...

Andy, the vent is coming out of the very top edge of the valve cover. It then goes to a #6 hose. That hose will eventually lead to a vented catch can. The idea is to not have a filter sticking off the top or side of the valve cover. The catch can can be remotely mounted behind the motor and be unseen. It will be about the size of a soda can with a #6 hose coming into it and a small filter coming off of it. This will allow the valve cover to breathe and not spray any oil out of anything.

You could always weld a splash shield inside you valve cover (if you don't already have one in place) that will help with the small amount of oil you are spraying out.
