See this is proof it's not dead we all still criticize each other just like in the 70s. But the difference is that would of taken months to mail each not seconds like today.

"fucken shit, not this again!" just kidding!

When people ask me about this topic, I simply say "who cares." Just do what you want, go about your day and enjoy what you enjoy. If some douche bags want to move on then let them. In twenty years ill be polishing the wheels on my Mini in the garage while my grand kids ride hover boards. I'll probably be texting Brandt to tell him he's a douche and I need some new shirts! lol

For one i think this site is kinda dead beacuse of other sites like FB instagram and other truck/custom forums and that makes me sad cuz i like this sight and have been coming on it ever since i knew what a mini truck was.

But as for the scene, i dont think its really dead its just changed and like other ppl said the older guys are either really into mini trucks or have moved onto hotrods or other types of customization which is fine an understandable because hotrods etc have alot more value and theres so many posibilities with doing them. but i dont think mini truckin is going any where, theres still lots of ppl into it as long as we get out there to the show and support it weather you have a custom vehicle or not

Im still pretty young but have been around minis for about half my life down here in south florida. so ive seen the scene change a whole lot down here and i gotta say that it has died down very much here beacuse i just remember the days when Local Minis ran the south florida scene and then when they split an new very successful club came about called Aftermath came about but now theres not as many members down here but thats ok cuz the quality of there trucks hasent changed and id rather see nice trucks then not nice trucks

The point im trying to get at is that some ppl might think the scene is dead because the area that they live at might not be as saturated with good quality trucks like it used to be

I dont care if this so called "scene" ended tomorrow i will always love minitruckin and custom trucks also mini inspired cars

thats just my 2cents

MY 2 pennies is simple. Minitruckers hang with and build everything! Fullsize,donk,lowrider,hotrod......... We hang with everyone allways have. If they all die off well then.......

Build/Buy cool shit, Hang out with friends, Go to events/shows, support aftermarket businesses......... repeat!

It really isn't difficult if you think about it.

Don't talk about it, be about it.

I've taken breaks from building custom trucks but I always find myself building bikes or furniture or something lol. After it gets in your blood it's hard to get out. If it starts with mini trucks then I say your a minitrucker. Regardless of what you actually build now that's what got you into the love of building/showing. I know several people that got out of it but always have fond memories of their first mini, and it usually takes very little persuasion to get them wanting a mini(laid out something) again.

The Scene is Dead... Cause of stupid Topics like this... I got to 3 or 4 down page one and just started looking like Charlie Browns mom talking...

This is not a scene its a way of life... The thing that hurts the shows is these people that need to win the $5.00-$20 trophy... So for the New guys in this world of custom rides try this for your next show.. Go to your local trophy shop buy you the biggest bowling trophy you can find... Then put it in the passanger side of your truck.. So the first day your trophy worries are over.. Now the rest of the weekend go drink a beer and see how many new friends you can make... This scene or world we are in isn't about the awards or who beat who.. Its about who met who, What person did I help with a blown bag a messed up air line.. Its about the week before a show helping your friend get his ride ready for the weekend...

The Scene will be dead when we cant fix up rides and all fab shops, paint shops, Builders, welders and true Custom Car guys ( not just mini Truckers) when all those guys are gone then we are done... I don't see that happening... Unless we get that beam me up Shit going But I will still put flames on mine...

Don't bitch about the scene improve it... Help a new group get involved... Thats my thoughts ... If you think it sucks well F off... lol J/K

P.S. I would spell check but I don't really give a flying F_CK.... Page me

the scene would be alot less dead if there was less digital bitching and more welding.
