There are definitely positives to any type watts link. It just depends on how much you want to spend, which style, what look, how nice you want one.

Many people do the same with 4 links. They buy a cheap sturdty one and never give it a second look. Then there are some that buy a nice one and keep it clean as dinner china.

Mike still here? ... I was wondering how his watts link would go with a 2 link? ...

it's funny i've done paint n' body work on the side out of my buddy's shop where he builds mud racing chassis and have seen him build and install a watts link and have asked what's the meaning and function of this thing, he's never called it's a "watts link"!?! he told me that it's has been used for many years in mud racing and he's been building chassis for many years and all of a sudden the mags like mini-truckin are makin a big deal of this thing! i understand that a fella' by the name of "watts" invented this thing, it's just funny that it hasn't been used alot soooner!

a watts works well with a 2 link. Its much better to use heim joints with a 2 link tho.

I have started selling an HD version of my watts link. It has heavier tubes, bars and 3/4" heims with cone washers for added travel.

I have (this weekend) added a bent tube center bar to the line and will introduce other things soon.

I will offer different centers as well as different designs.

on a design note, the bars dont have to be the same length and the pivot doesnt have to be in the center. It does make it more difficult to setup though.

many new stock autos have watts links with unequal length bars.

will there be a additional charge for custom made center pieces like a club logo

Yes, the cool thing about that is that as long as the holes for the bars and the center hole are all in the same place or the same distance apart you can have pretty much any shape you want laser or waterjet cut.

that is the most basic watts you can buy anywhere. the heims are way cheap and the bars are a certain length. they may be right and they may not.

If you plan on building one, use better heims and make the bars the correct length to start with.

wow or build brackets to work with those arms at those links... but that might be entirely to hard to do.
