I'm really interested to see how it turns out...cause to be honest, I'm not really feeling that chop.

...but then again, having it sitting on the ground could bring about a whole new perspective.

It will look good on the ground, with those wheels...have fun

Way to much chop IMO....it looks out of proportion. have fun wideing the fenders I am in the middle of doing mine right now

starting to get worried if the wheels will tuck inside the bed with the chassis cab axle i have , these wheels come out quite fat and from the look on the pic below they will exit the fender at the rear .

these are townasty rims?

I'm a sucker for a chop top, but I would have to agree... I think once is layed out it will bring it back more into porportion..

i want your wheels

Yep, I said so before in the newbee section, have to agree unfortunately. I think they just took too much out of it. I think the drop will help.

The od is 1.5". And it's 30" long for the 4 link bars. The inner diameter is 3/16" on everything. I have no pivots for the bushings, just regular bushings, no side to side with this tank.

The panhard bar is 29" long, and the notches and bag brackets are also 3/16" thick.

Can you spot the damage on the muffler? Goes from a 3" header to a 1.?" pipe and muffler...don't ask me why.

These are gone, i'm going to replace them with some 2.5 inch Flowmasters, or Magnaflow's...we'll see.

Truck is now level

Now I still have to tighten these rear wheels right down, so I figure they will come in around one more inch. But it looks like I will have enough room to mount the 4-link outside the rails and the bags inside the rails.

Oh and I checked the pinion angle and it seems to be at around 1.5-2 dergees. What is the norm on these when they get layed out?

The frame is cleaned up, but there is too much rust to clean up inside the shop. When the bags are all done i'm going to sandblast it out back. I've gone through lots of coarse sanding discs, and haven't even made a dent in the corrosion.

I've started the notch, but i'll post some more pics later, shop has just got real busy lately...have to catch up.

Later.
