I had my little bro at the house most of the afternoon for a little get together. So I decided to take full advantage of having the extra set of hands around. I got the front all reassembled without the coils. Just so I can get it off the trailer at the shop next week.
We got the rear springs,Shackles, hangers, e brake cables, and other useless bracketry cut out of the way. Got the rear end centered up and just spot welded it to the frame to setup the 4 link since sitting on the frame without a notch is about the ride height I'll be running. He also brought me all the rest of the air ride parts I ordered and had send to his house. I also got my lower link bars fabbed up and tacked together.

This is the rear end now

The pile of parts I had shipped to his house. It's not all of them but some.

I love the feeling of opening up all of the shipments coming in. It's like X-mas every time lol. Most of the stuff in the pic is for the rear except 2 of the bags of course. I only have 4 of those 1/2" valves also. One of my buddies got to digging around and found an old school set of Air ride technologies valves in his shop. He graciously donated them to my cause lol. Their set up on 2 billet manifold blocks. I think thier only about 1/8" valves though. They have to be from 90's from the looks of them. So for right now my thought is to use the 1/2" valves for fill and the 1/8" or 1/4" whatever size they are for the dump side. That should save some cash.

With the front coils out my truck still won't lay out. I can't see anything holding it up except maybe the upper ball joints binding up. Their in a pretty extreme angle and binding I'm pretty sure. Has anyone ever pie cut their uppers on a square? Should I cut the upper side of the arm and plate the gap or should I cut pieces out of the lower sides of the arms and weld it back together when they meet at the correct angle? Any advice would be awesome. I've never pie cut a square before.

Leave the top intact and put the wide part of the pie at the bottom, bend to where needed and weld the seam. Don't make the pie any bigger than needed.
