truck is look'n good. you never mention'd the vette again but it's still an option do some resarch on em, that is the "least" desirable modle to have, not good resale value.

No problem on the wheels man! id rather you be using them than somebody I don't know gettin them. If I get my dually done pretty quick ill just drive it up there and bring to ya and see your dually! Ill be itchin to drive it anyway, might as well put some miles on it in that direction! Lol.

The more I looked at the right side of my trans tunnel the more I thought it needed to be more rounded. So today a friend I go to school with and I cut the right side apart and redid it. I'm happy with the entire tunnel now overall. It has a nice smooth rounded shape that should look really nice with the carpet laid over it. I still have a couple small pieces to patch in but it's 99% done inthe sheet metal. I only have about a foot of my driveshaft tunnel left and ill be done also. As soon as I get my cab back off I'm going to finish it up under there and it'll be ready for paint. I got a couple tubes of seam sealer and a bit of undercoating so I should have everything but dynomat to finish it up completely.

Under the gas pedal isn't a fun area with a starter nose cone sticking through there and trying to leave enough room for a gas pedal. I think I've got it about worked out now. Might have to move my gas pedal over just a bit but I think it'll all work.

Lookin good i remember on my first dually the trans tunnel was real close to the gas pedal and it made puttin carpet in a bitch cause it rubbed carpet bad.....when i body my new dually im prolly gonna rebend my pedal out closer to seat to help with that and to help with my lack of tallness

Thanks a lot man!!
I'm really glad you said something about carpet!! As slow as this build has been going lately you would think I'd have plenty of time to think of little details but I wouldn't even have thought about that as obvious as it should have been to me. I would have set the pedal up to work with no carpet and it wouldn't have worked after putting down dynomat, carpet backing insulation, and carpet.
I think I'm going to have to move it over more towards the brake pedal and also out toward the seat so it'll have plenty of downward travel. I'm really hoping I can still use the stock mounting spot for it on the firewall and just cut it off right where it starts going downward after the bend at the pivot point. We'll see if it works I guess.

And speaking of carpet the cheapest i have found it for our trucks is from Stockinteriors.com.....150 bucks for front and rear in any color they have....if yall know of a cheaper place post it up

Man I really wish I could just order some stock carpet and drop it in my truck. I'm 99.9% sure it wouldn't fit my truck unless I can order it with extra material in it. I would estimate that I've had to raise my trans tunnel and driveshaft tunnel 6"-8". I'll most likely have to just take it to an upholstery shop and have custom carpet made for it. I'm sure that'll end up costing me at least double what it would cost to just order stock carpet. Having nice carpet makes such a huge difference in the overall look of your interior and kills so much noise it's well worth it though.

Ive ordered several carpet kits over the years for various vehicles....every one ive ever ordered was about 4 inches to big on each side and had to be trimmed....i put new carpet in a traditional bodied s10 i had couple years ago....floor was raised 3.5 inches on it and carpet kit worked good in it....had to spray adhesive glue under it to get it to stick to shape but worked good
